The host hotel headquarters for SUG 2009 is the Westin Kierland
Resort and Spa, located in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Westin
Kierland is located in the master planned, 730-acre Kierland
Community which is tucked among the McDowell Mountains and
Sonoran Desert surrounding sunny Scottsdale. The Westin Kierland

As a conference participant we are pleased to announce the
new low SUG 2009 group rate of $99 per night. With
7 days advance notice, this rate is available 3 days prior
/ post the official conference dates based upon availability.
When attendees book their room at the $99 group rate, a deposit
equal to first and last night’s stay is required to hold their
reservation. The deposit is refundable if notice is received
by the Resort at least seven (7) days prior to arrival and
a cancellation number is obtained. All deposits shall be charged
at the time the reservation is made. Room reservations for the conference
room rate are available up until July 11th.

When your meetings are finished for the day, there are a
host of options for guest of all ages. Try a round of golf
or a visit to the desert inspired spa, or make a splash at
the Adventure Water Park. Come to Scottsdale early or stay
after the conference is over to enjoy desert jeep tours, tennis,
golf, the spa with Scottsdales own hot stone massage, a facial
or pedicure, yoga, or just a great workout on state of the
art exercise equipment. If the kids are coming, pack their
suits so they can enjoy the 110-foot waterslide, 900-foot
lazy river, sand beach, and more. Or for some peace and quiet,
slip away to the peaceful adult pool.

Check In/Out Times
Hotel check in time is 4:00 p.m. and check
out time is 12:00 p.m. All guests arriving
before 4:00 p.m. will be accommodated as rooms become available.
The Bell Desk can arrange to check luggage for those arriving
early when rooms are unavailable and for guests attending
functions on departure day.
Booking Reservations
In order to secure the SUG 2009 conference participant preferred
room rate, you will need to confirm your reservation with
the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa before 11:55 p.m. on July
11, 2009. All rooms and preferred group rates
are available on a first-come, first served basis for a limited
block. We encourage you to book early to secure accommodations
at the conference rate.
